Ernie Gilbert is a character designer and art director that has worked on The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom and T.U.F.F. Puppy since 2000. Starting as a Freelance designer on FOP, Ernie became a full-time character designer on the show in August 2001, design supervisor in 2004, and Art Director in 2005. In 2006 Ernie won an Annie Award for Best Character Design in an Animated Television Production for his work on "The Good Old Days", in which he also Art Directed, and provided the singing voice and ukulele playing for Chippington Skylark III. In 2010 Ernie was tasked with designing the main character line-up for Butch Hartman's series TUFF Puppy, designing Kitty Catswell, Verminious Snaptrap, The Chief, Keswick, Sally Mander, Birdbrain and the Chameleon, among others. In 2011 Ernie was awarded a second Annie award for Best Character Design in a Television Production for his work on TUFF Puppy, and in 2012 received an Emmy Award for Outstsnding Individual Achievement in Animaton for his work on TUFF Puppy. Ernie is currently Art Director for the 9th season of Fairly Oddparents.
