Information[]

The Dimmsdale Dogwood is a tree located in a small park which is a central point in the plot of the live-action film. At the time of the movie, thirteen years after the cartoon, the park is deteriorated, and Hugh J. Magnate Jr. wanted to tear down the park and tree and build an Oil Well/Hotel over it. Although the Mayor and townspeople support Magnate, Tootie opposes Magnate's idea and wanted to restore the park to how it was when she was a child. Thanks to Timmy and his godparents, The Dimmsdale Dogwood was restored to its former glory and Magnate's company finally left it alone due to Magnate himself being sent to an asylum as nobody believed that fairies made him do the evil deeds he had done.

Description[]

A dogwood tree which Timmy and Tootie used to climb as kids. A heart with Timmy and Tootie's names was carved on the tree long ago, which is part of the reason Tootie does not want to see the tree torn down. "Timmy's Dad + Timmy's Mom" is also carved onto the tree assuming that the tree had been here before Timmy was born.
