• The plot of the episode is almost similar to Something's Fishy! from the fifth season.
• The episode made its Nickelodeon debut on April 5, 2018.
• This is the fortieth episode since his introduction in Fairly Odd Baby in which Poof does not appear.
• Music from all the way back to the 2nd episode of Fairly OddParents titled Power Mad! plays when Timmy is playing his Mario-esque plumber game. Ironically, Power Mad was about Timmy, Chester, and A.J. being inside a Video Game.

Allusions

• Mario - Timmy can be seen playing a video game with a plumber dog wearing Mario's clothes.
• Toys "R" Us - The crate that says Bongos "R" Us is based off this location.

Running Gags

• Mr. Turner obnoxiously playing his bongos.
• People complimenting "Tina's" (Timmy's) looks
• Mr. Crocker trying to stay under heavy weighted objects but when Mr. Turner plays his bongos the objects fall on him.
• Cosmo, disguised as an electric eel, electrocuting Wanda, who is a pufferfish, and making her inflate.

Continuity & Easter Eggs

• This is the second appearance of a gender-bent Timmy, the other time being "The Boy Who Would be Queen".
• This is the second time Chloe transforms, the other time being "Booby Trapped".
• This is the second time Timmy has become a "merperson", he previously did so in Something's Fishy!. However, he remained male when doing so in that episode.

Goofs

• In this episode, Mr. Turner can't play the bongos properly, but in "One Man Banned", "Love at First Bark", and "Desperate Without Housewives", he is very talented at playing the bongos.
• The Atlantis shown in this episode does not appear to be the same Atlantis as seen on "Something's Fishy!". No explanation is given for this.
