Trivia

  • This is the first appearance of Remy Buxaplenty since the Season 5 episode "Operation F.U.N.", which was before the addition of Sparky, Foop, and even Poof.
    • This is also his last appearance in the series.
  • Poof had no lines in this episode, making him uncredited.
  • Although Remy is in the episode, he being Juandissimo's godchild is not mentioned, and he's nowhere to be seen. Also, Timmy didn't seem to remember Remy, and it looks like they met for the first time in this episode.
  • This episode, as well as most of the other episodes, is mentioned in the iTunes description for Season 9. It is mentioned as "Cosmo feuds with a gopher".
  • Before Cosmo finds a gopher, he looked at the viewers after he said that nothing could ruin his day. The fourth wall is broken here.
    • Also, he looks at the viewers directly while reading the prophecy about Timmy failing to blow 117 TNT dynamite sticks.
    • At the end, Wanda, under the kitchen table, looks directly at the audience as she said that she could get used to being a dog (Sparky).
    • Timmy also looks at the viewers when knowing about Cosmo's prophecy as an idea to teach the Buxaplenties a lesson.
  • Cosmo, Poof and Sparky don't appear at the end, although Wanda is seen as Sparky. If one doesn't count it though, then none of his fairies appear at the end.
  • It turns out that the entire episode is a prophecy made by Cosmo.
  • When Mr. and Mrs. Buxaplenty were introduced, they were only shown from the shoulders down like Mr. and Mrs. Turner in the Oh Yeah! Cartoons shorts. But for some reason starting from the birth of Poof and adoption of Sparky, their faces were shown and their character models changed. This is probably due to them not appearing in the show for so long, probably because they needed a character redesign.
  • This episode reveals that gophers are fairies' enemies.
  • Wanda (in Sparky's body) states she doesn't have to shave her legs. This is a reference from The Fairly Odd Movie where it involves her legs that need to be shaven.

Running Gags

  • Cosmo attacking the gopher.
  • Mr. Turner talking about his boxers.
  • Mr. And Mrs. Turner eating from plungers.
  • Cosmo reading the Fairy World prophecy, which is written on toilet paper.
  • Wanda and Sparky enjoying themselves while in each other's bodies.

Goofs

  • It is unknown how Wanda and Sparky were able to get back to normal in the next episode.
  • In the credits, Country Clubbed was mistaken as Dust Busters in the cast part.
