Premise[]

When Viv learns of Rachel's past failures as a Cookie Scout, she wishes they could enter the Mother-Daughter Competition together. Rachel's extreme tactics get them into trouble, but luckily Roy and Ty end up in the perfect position to bail them out.

Plot[]

Cassidy comes up to ask if Roy and Viv want to buy any cookies because she is trying to win the mother-daughter competition. Viv perks up at hearing that tickets to Shakespeare Con are one of the prizes. Roy agrees to take a box but his mom, Rachel, interferes and tells Cassidy they will take no boxes. Something clicks and Cassidy recognizes Rachel - her nickname is “runner up Ray Ray”.

Rachel admits she never won the mother-daughter cookie competition. Then she had a son and her hopes of winning it crashed down. Viv offers to enter the competition with Rachel but she tells her that she can’t because she’s failed so many times already.

Viv wishes that Rachel would want to enter the competition with her. The next morning, Viv wakes up to Rachel telling her that they’ve got cookies to sell. They go out and sell cookies and even have a few bonding moments. However, they don’t win- until Rachel decides to buy all of the cookies herself so that they win. Rachel admits she had to borrow $50,000 to afford to buy all of the cookies. However, it’s a 10 hour loan and they have to repay the loan immediately. They can’t repay the loan and get in trouble. Viv and Rachel get tied up until they can pay it back. Meanwhile, Roy ends up winning a Slapattack card tournament and wins $50,000. He comes home to save the day and frees Viv and Rachel.
