• This is the first appearance of Catman since 9 Lives!.
• This episode was available on the Nickelodeon website on July 11, before its television premiere.
• This is the second episode since his introduction in Fairly Odd Baby in which Poof does not appear. This is the second episode in season 9 following "Let Sleeper Dogs Lie" not to feature Poof.
• This is the second episode in Season 9 where Mr. Turner does not appear in at any moment.
• This is the ninth episode in Season 9 where Denzel Crocker does not appear in at any moment.
• This is also the only episode in Season 9 where Mr. Turner and Denzel Crocker are both absent.

• First episode in which Catman wasn't voiced by the real Adam West. His voice actor was Jeff Bennett.
• In this episode at the beginning in the "Home of Justice", a lot of superheroes were parodied or just shown in paintings on the walls like Super Man, Batman, etc.

• Butterfly Boy never had a TV show and is just a regular man dressed as a butterfly.

Allusions

• T.U.F.F. Puppy - When Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and Sparky first enter the "Home of Justice" we can see a picture of Dudley Puppy behind them.

  

• Batcave - Both the club that Catman takes Sparky (and later Timmy) and what's written on Catman's door in the retirement center at the beginning of the episode are named the Cat cave. Which is a reference to Batman's headquarters, the Batcave.
• Spider-Man - One of the elders who reside in the "Home of Justice" is dressed similarly to Spider-man and seems to tangle from the ceiling with a white web.

• Flash - One of the elders who reside in the "Home of Justice" is dressed similarly to Flash but in purple.

Running Gags

• Catman randomly saying "Meow".
• Catman thinking Sparky is Dogman.
