Trivia
- This marks the first appearance of Viv Turner, Ty Turner, Zina Zacarias, Rachel Raskin, and Roy Raskin as they were not mentioned nor seen in the original series.
- This marks the first appearance of Cosmo, Wanda and Timmy Turner since "Fancy Schmancy" and the first appearances of Jorgen Von Strangle since "The Kale Patch Caper", 5 years prior to this episode.
- This marks the first episode to ever use a laugh track.
- This episode uses footage from previous episodes, including:
- This marks the first appearance of the Turner Residence in live action.
- This is the first live action in the Fairly OddParents media since the movie, A Fairly Odd Summer.
- Set many years after the original series, the trailer confirms that Timmy is now an adult and finally at the point where he must give up his fairies. He decides to pass them down onto his younger cousin.
- This episode aired on April 21, 2022 on Nickelodeon as a sneak peek, before the rest of the season started airing on the channel in November.
- The show had been released on Paramount+ in its entirety on March 31, 2022.
- This is the only episode where characters do not use chopsticks to eat cake.
Continuity & Easter Eggs
- When Cosmo and Wanda introduce themselves to Viv in the trailer, they're accompanied by a pair of searchlights and text reading "FAIRY GODPARENTS!" This recreates their introduction to Timmy (as seen in the pilot and Abra-Catastrophe!).
- Two posters referencing side characters from the original series can be seen in Viv's bedroom: a campaign ad for Tad & Chad (before Cosmo & Wanda magically upgrade it) and a drawing of the Crimson Chin (afterward).
- Cosmo's explanation of what wishes he can grant in the trailer is lifted from the original show's theme song: "guava juice, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake..."
Running gags
- After leaving the Turner residence, Sergeant Splitz falls into a bush.
- Viv is mentioned as having very smelly feet.
- Though this was a lie told to Viv's father and Sergeant Splitz to explain away the farm animal smell, the rest of the characters treat it as fact for the remainder of the series.
Errors
- In a few frames of the animated intro, Timmy is missing his buck teeth.
- Roy unwishes Viv's wish by wishing that Ty would dance again, however for the rest of the series it is said that you are unable to unwish a sibling's wish.
- It is possible that this is not an error but is instead because Viv did not consider Roy to be her sibling at this point.
