A few years ago when I took over this wiki, it was pretty much dead. Most of the characters had no pages, let alone images, and if there were any episode summaries they looked as if they were written by a chimpanzee on a keyboard.
Now, the wiki has grown since, it has a modest amount of activity, and a few more admins than just me and only me (I've since stepped down, but I'll check back here from time to time to try and give input). However, it also has several major problems that need to be addressed.
First, the layout of pages. When I took over and added a uniform layout for most of the Wiki, there wasn't some scrunched together page layout that Wikia forces on all its Wikis for some reason. Its supposedly to help with mobile viewers, but trust me, browsing this wiki on a mobile phone is still a nightmare. My recommendation is to abandon the tabbed page format and align closer to what some active wikis such as the Steven Universe or Gravity Falls wiki use. There are no tabs, all the information is kept on one page. Image galleries have a subpage (ie Timmy Turner/Images) but otherwise everything is kept to a single page as it cuts down significantly on the amount of pages the wiki has.
Image galleries can remain as they are (separated by character/episode), its the only way I can figure how to manage the obscene load times. The icons (both the ones that used to appear on the top left, and the ones in the image galleries that link to individual character galleries from the main episode image gallery) and things on the top though are breaking the page in mobile and will most likely have to be adjust.
Second, many things such as Featured Article voting, haven't been kept up to date. So the community will have to come together and figure out how to make more featured articles. My own project to replace the PNG image galleries with JPG has since been abandoned, but I'm sure someone else can pick up the slack. Basically, PNGs cause way to much of a load time and the quality loss is really negligible.
Third and finally, some pages should just be flat out merged. I remember there being a discussion on Vicky's pets, or those random chefs that appeared in some episode about food, they don't each need their own page. Insignificant stuff should really be kept on one page.
I'm sure there is more that I missed, feel free to discuss any ideas for fixing the Wiki. If I have time this week, I'll try to fix the layout for a few pages of characters and episodes to give you all a rough idea of how it should work.
