The horror! The pure, unadulterated, PG-13 horror!
— Timmy Turner

"Action Packed" is the fifth episode of Season 2.

Plot[]

"Timmy wishes that his life could be just like an action movie, but things quickly get out of control when all of Timmy's loved ones are put in grave danger. Timmy must go mano a mano against supervillain Jorgen Von Strangle to get his and everybody else's life back to boring."

Synopsis[]

Timmy and his parents have become bored with their lives; Timmy sits through another whole day of school without anything exciting happening. But that evening, Mr. and Mrs. Turner accidentally rent a video of the violent action movie Loose Cannon Cop Who Doesn't Play by the Rules! Timmy is enticed by the movie and convinces his parents to let him watch it. Later in his room, Timmy gushes about how exciting the movie was, and with his last breaths before falling asleep, he wishes that his own life were like an action movie.

The next morning, Timmy wakes up and narrowly escapes his alarm clock exploding, then overcomes walls of spikes, cobras, and a giant boulder. Cosmo and Wanda tell him that his life is now an action movie, and give him a watch that doubles as a communicator for them to use to talk to each other. After an action-filled breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Turner, it is time for school, so Timmy takes off with a jetpack and flies to Dimmsdale Elementary, where he has to fight off a squad of ninjas. Once done, he wishes for more ninjas to battle, and notices that Cosmo and Wanda have disappeared. They contact him via the watch and inform him that they were kidnapped and that he has little time to rescue them.

Jorgen as the villain

Timmy uses the computer at his spy headquarters to pinpoint the fairies' whereabouts. Jorgen Von Strangle then appears on the monitor and declares that as the "obligatory action movie villain", he and his cat, Mr. Tuliptoes, plan on stealing the magic of every fairy on Earth so that he can use it to conquer the world. He captures the fairy godparents of children around the world and puts them along with Cosmo and Wanda in a machine that extracts the magic from their bodies. To Timmy's horror, the removal causes his godparents to shrivel up and crumble into dust. He becomes determined to fix what he has done to the world.

Timmy parachutes to Jorgen's lair and demands the fairies' release, at which point Jorgen uses the machine to transfer the magic to his wand. Jorgen tries to use his newfound power against Timmy and is about to finish him off when Mr. Tuliptoes, annoyed by Jorgen neglecting him in favor of his evil plan, gets on his face and scratches it, which gives Timmy the opportunity he takes to get to the machine and set it in reverse. The machine sucks the magic out of Jorgen and explodes, freeing the other fairies and turning them back to normal.

Timmy apologizes to Cosmo and Wanda for how his "selfish wish almost ruined everything for everybody", and wishes the world back to how it used to be. Back at home, Timmy is shocked to see his parents watching Loose Cannon Cop. Mr. Turner says that he wishes his life were like an action movie, to which Timmy responds: "Trust me. No, you don't."
